7 Days NSS Camp Organized By Falakata College

Webdesk, TNI Falakata, 3^rd April, 2017: A 7 days camp was organized by the NSS unit of Falakata College at West Falakata Region. The camp was inaugurated by the Principal of Falakata College Dr. Hirendra Nath Bhattacharya. During this 7 days camp the activities performed by the NSS members were renovation of the bucolic road, survey on the old people based on their socio-economic condition, consultation with the villagers with respect to the issues of embryo-killing due to girl child, child marriage, woman trafficking, becoming mother on right time, child vaccination, utilizing toilets, cleanliness etc. In this connection, the Assistant Professors of Falakata college Mr. Abu Siddique, Mr. Rajesh Barman and Mr. Saikat Das told TNI that during the camp students were exposed to real life problems faced by the villages apart from their daily studies during college.
